While Yast works fine from the GUI, when I access it from the command line, while it will also complete whatever function I request, when it comes to where are done and need to close it down, there is no bar at top where you would normally use to exit it, and the command line itself is blocked over by this screen [which comes apart, but won't move] and what does show has no prompt, so can't enter any command.
At complete loss as to what to try, and any suggestions welcome; really don't want to giveup on trying to use command line.

Thank you mushroom for pointing out my oversight of the set keyings. While alt q wouldn't work on my laptop, control + alt + F2 did close application and get me a command line. Thanks again.
