Calculate Directory Server (CDS) is an advanced, LDAP-based authentication server designed to be a domain controller for business networks. http://www.calculate-linux.org/main/en/cds
CDS can successfully replace Windows NT Server ® (with support for Windows 2000 / XP / Vista / Seven clients) and provides additional services: LDAP, DNS, PROXY, Mail, FTP, Jabber and many others that can be deployed in minutes. High reliability of Linux OS.
Not picky about the hardware resources.
Does not require royalty or license fee.
Works in heterogeneous environment (Windows / Linux).
Calculate Linux is based on Gentoo, which is well known for its stability and performance on a wide range of hardware: from Pentium Pro to modern processors. Calculate page: http://www.calculate-linux.org/blogs/en/439/show
CDS (Directory Server):
Bind 9.9.2_p2, Kernel 3.8.4, OpenLDAP 2.4.30, Postfix 2.10, ProFTPD 1.3.4a, Samba 3.6.12

Calculate Linux Scratch (CLS) and Calculate Scratch Server (CSS) are specialized distributions designed to build a liveCD for any task. The distribution includes the bare minimum necessary to build a desktop (CLS) or Server (CSS): driver and utilities, libraries, source code for the Linux kernel and Portage. CLS also has a preinstalled Xorg Server and graphics libraries.
Features. The LiveCD contains an exact copy of the installation image. CLS includes utilities for configuring, building and installing the system. Interactive system build allows you to build a customized ISO image. Can be installed on a USB-Flash or a USB-HDD with ext4, ext3, ext2, reiserfs, btrfs, xfs, jfs, nilfs2 or fat32. 100% compatible with Gentoo. http://www.calculate-linux.org/main/en/cls
